He graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Litigation. While there, he served on the Board of Editors for the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. That position required leadership skills, and also exposure to various legal topics while reading, voting, and editing articles for publication.
